Job Title: IT Support Technician
Our growing IT managed services provider (MSP) is seeking a skilled and experienced IT Support Technician who will be responsible for supporting our clients' IT infrastructure. The ideal candidate must have strong expertise in Desktop Support, Network Design and Administration, Router Configuration and Administration, Security, and PowerShell scripting.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support to clients via remote and on-site assistance
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to client’s IT infrastructure including servers, workstations, network devices, and security systems.
- Install, maintain and upgrade software applications such as operating systems, server applications, and security tools.
- Perform regular backups, disaster recovery planning, and implementation.
- Monitor client’s IT infrastructure and proactively identify possible problems.
- Provide quality customer service through timely and effective communication with clients.
- Document all support activities in detail.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of five years of experience in IT support or similar role.
- Experience in working with Kesaya AutoTask, Kesaya 365, Kesaya User , Microsoft Server 2012-2022, Desktop support, RocketCyber, ProofPoint, Microsoft SQL, Datto RMM, Microsoft Office 365 and SonicWall Routers.
- Must have excellent technical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Education:
- A bachelor’s or associates degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field is a plus. Minimum of 5 years experience is required.
Certifications:
- Previous MSP experience is an advantage
- Relevant IT certifications such as Microsoft, CompTIA, ITIL, etc. are an advantage.
