Job Title : Operations Specialist III / Venue Lead Job Location : FT Belvoir (Hybrid work ) Security Clearance : Active, in-scope DoD issued Secret Kwaan Bear Technology Solutions (KBTS) is looking for a cleared Operations Specialist / Venue Lead to join our team for a contract at Fort Belvoir. Position Overview : The Operations Specialist / Venue Lead will coordinate with audio / video staff and support services for a government customer, ensuring smooth and efficient event space management. This role supports event management and execution, overseeing the configuration, coordination, and operational effectiveness of event spaces. The candidate will be responsible for managing the setup, execution, and breakdown of venues, collaborating with internal teams, external agencies, and stakeholders to meet event-specific requirements. Duties :
Serve as the primary point of contact for venue configuration requirements, collaborating closely with event leads and other stakeholders.
Coordinate with external staff, agencies, and contractors to ensure all necessary venue support is secured and executed.
Manage the setup and breakdown of event spaces, ensuring they are restored to their default configurations post-event.
Perform all activities necessary to maintain daily operations of the program / product offices. Manage facilities to include space, furniture, and office supplies.
Provide daily supervision, direction, and guidance to event support staff throughout the event planning and execution process.
Receive, distribute, track and report on formal event tasks using the SharePoint
Work effectively within a multi-stakeholder, technical, and matrixed organizational environment, demonstrating effective communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
Required :
At least 5 years of experience in event management, operations administration, or audio-visual support services, preferably in a government or large-scale organizational setting.
BBA or relevant field
Proficiency in MS Office products including MS Teams, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and SharePoint
