Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Vending Program Administrator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing on-site customer inventory levels, ensuring accuracy in stock counts, and optimizing the supply chain process. This position requires a strong understanding of warehouse management systems and the ability to analyze data effectively. The Vending Inventory Specialist will collaborate with various departments to enhance inventory operations and contribute to overall efficiency.
This is a hybrid in-office/warehouse/field role. About 70% of your time will be at our facility, while 30% will be in the field.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain accurate inventory records using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and Material Requirements Planning (MRP) tools.
- Conduct weekly on-site customer stock replenishments and cycle counts to ensure data integrity and identify discrepancies.
- Prepare vending reports, create vending orders for customer delivery.
- Be Familiar with vending delivery and put-away process at customer facilities. (You will be the backup)
- Collaborate with sales and procurement teams to optimize inventory levels and manage stock replenishment.
- Assist in the development of inventory management strategies that align with customer goals.
- Support distribution center operations by coordinating the flow of goods in and out of the warehouse.
- Provide trouble shooting and support for the customer vending operation with respect to hardware/machines, changing of products in machines, coils, and roster updates with the customer.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in inventory management or a related field, preferably within a distribution center or warehouse environment.
- Vending Experience in any industry.
- Familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and Material Requirements Planning (MRP) software is highly desirable.
- Proficient with Inventory Management Software
- Knowledge of supply chain principles and best practices in warehouse management.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in all tasks performed.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, for collaboration across departments.
- Driver's License
