Black Cow Burgers & Fries in Portland, ME is looking a Full-time closing bartender.
Our hours of operation are W,TH,Sun 1130-10 F,SA 11:30-12
The ideal candidate is self-driven, punctual, and hard-working. We're throwing a party every night and need you to be the host. We're bringing service back. We are a high volume cocktail bar. We make everything from scratch, from the classics to custom creations on the spot.We have an ice program and a local beer selection.
Responsibilities
- Prepare alcohol or non-alcohol beverages
- Interact with customers, take orders and serve snacks and drinks
- Assess customers needs and preferences and make recommendations
- Mix ingredients to prepare cocktails
- Check customer's identification and confirm it meets legal drinking age
- Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies
- Stay guest focused and nurture an excellent guest experience
- Comply with all food and beverage regulations
Qualifications
- Proven working experience as a bartender
- Excellent knowledge of in mixing, garnishing and serving drinks
- Knowledge of a second language will be considered a plus
- Positive attitude and excellent communication skills
- Ability to keep the bar organized, stocked and clean
- Relevant training certificate
