The Job :
As an Inventory Control Manager, you'll be part of our Tools & Outdoor Global Supply Chain team working as an on-site employee in Sedalia, MO. The Master Data and Inventory Control Manager is responsible for two main areas : managing SAP Master Data (including Item-Masters and BOMs) and monitoring, analyzing, and reporting inventory movements. This role ensures data accuracy and identifies system / process issues by analyzing inventory movements. Key activities include root cause analysis, leading improvement discussions, and collaborating with departments like manufacturing, engineering, purchasing, planning, and distribution to ensure adherence to established processes. The goal is to maintain operational efficiency and data integrity, supporting the organization's overall performance. You'll get to :
- Develop and maintain SAP Master Data, including Item-Masters and Bills of Materials (BOMs).
- Ensure that Master Data accurately defines operations and supports manufacturing processes.
- Manage teams that will Monitor, analyze, and report inventory movements to assess the accuracy of Master Data.
- Identify root causes of discrepancies or issues in inventory data and lead discussions to find opportunities for improvement.
- Work effectively with various departments such as manufacturing, engineering, purchasing, planning, and distribution.
- Ensure that established operational and inventory management processes are followed consistently across the organization.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes to enhance data accuracy and inventory management efficiency.
- Lead the plant inventory control team & oversee inventory control systems, cycle counting, and maintaining inventory accuracy.
- Oversee process refinement, training and execution.
