Job Summary/Scope
Keeps inventory of new replacement parts and repaired equipment and tools with the use of the computer and Cartegraph software. Documents changes in O&M library in hard copy and digital. Must have a working knowledge of the plant and its assets. Order parts, picks up needed materials and delivers some repairs to the other plant personnel. Maintains daily records of parts and tools. Repairs some tools and light equipment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Keeps all inventory items updated and removes corresponding parts from inventory for out of service equipment.
- Maintains records of all parts, tools, and repaired equipment through Cartegraph.
- Notify management when parts arrive and work with supervisors to schedule projects waiting on materials.
- Maintains O&M library both hard copies as well as digital copies to Cartegraph
- Orders parts for IMT’s and verifies correct part and qty.
- Reduce spending by getting the best price available
- Picks up parts locally as needed.
- Unloads incoming shipments with forklift and delivers parts to other personnel.
- Repairs small tools or sends them out for repair.
- Maintains, LOTO, safety harnesses and provides personnel with safety equipment. Performs all other related duties as assigned

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Well versed in computers and database’s
- Skills in effective communications.
- Must become proficient in Cartegraph (AMS)
- Knowledge of manufacturing terminology and nomenclature.
- Knowledge of proper tools and their maintenance and repair.
- Working knowledge of safety procedures.
- Ability to set up and maintain a proper inventory control via Cartegraph.
Material and Equipment Directly Used
Must be able to operate a vehicle, personal computer, telephone, and 10-key calculator. There may be times when use of personal vehicle may be required. Must be able to operate forklift, power tools, acetylene torch and welder. Times during emergencies you may be called to help locate a part if needed.

Working Environment/Physical Requirements

Education
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Passing of a drug screening required prior to appointment.
