The Conference Services Manager is a key leader in orchestrating exceptional events within our convention and banquet spaces. This role serves as a liaison between our guests and the banquet team, ensuring every detail of their vision is meticulously planned and flawlessly executed. With a commitment to excellence, the manager collaborates closely with clients to understand and exceed their expectations while overseeing banquet operations to deliver unparalleled service and memorable experiences.
Responsibilities
- Consistently implement and refine up-selling techniques to enhance guest experiences while maximizing revenue opportunities across banquet and conference services.
- Partner with clients to meticulously plan the details of their events, ensuring their unique needs and preferences are seamlessly incorporated into every aspect of the function.
- Personally escort clients through the property, highlighting the exceptional features of our facilities and presenting premium services and enhancements that align with their vision.
- Personally meet and greet clients on event days, offering dedicated support and proactive supervision to guarantee flawless execution.
- Maintain a solid understanding of conference technologies and audiovisual solutions, offering clients expert guidance to elevate their events.
- Host prospective clients for tailored tours of event spaces, dining outlets, and luxurious guest accommodations, crafting a compelling vision of their event’s potential.
- Stay attuned to evolving sales trends within the market and monitor competitive offerings to strategically position the property as a preferred destination.
- Collaborate with the Food & Beverage Director and Banquet Manager to develop and uphold policy standards, procedural guidelines, operational frameworks, and a service manual that ensures consistent excellence.
Qualifications
- Experienced with at least 2 years of experience in a similar role.
- A brand ambassador for luxury lifestyle who lives and breathes extravagance.
- A dynamic, enthusiastic, and creative leader who is able to perform multiple functions and troubleshoot when needed.
- A true entrepreneur that thrives in fast paced environments.
- Organized, personable, and have strong verbal and written communication skills.
