Job Summary:
The Director of IT at Black Desert Resort and Red Mountain Resort is responsible for overseeing all technology systems and infrastructure across both properties. This role ensures the seamless operation of IT services, cybersecurity, network infrastructure, and property management systems to support resort operations, guest services, and business efficiency. Reporting to the Director of Finance, the Director of IT leads the IT team, manages technology strategy, and partners with all departments to implement innovative solutions that enhance operations and guest experiences.

Onsite: Black Desert Resort & Red Mountain ResortShift & Schedule Availability: Year-Round / Full-TimePay Rate: $110,000 - $120,000/yr. This is the pay rate we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.

Responsibilities
- Develop and oversee IT strategies, ensuring technology supports the operational and business goals of both resorts.
- Manage all IT systems, including network infrastructure, cybersecurity, property management systems (PMS), point-of-sale (POS) systems, telephony, Wi-Fi, and guest technology solutions.
- Lead and manage IT staff, ensuring timely support, troubleshooting, and system optimization.
- Oversee cybersecurity initiatives, protecting resort data, guest information, and business systems from security threats.
- Implement, maintain, and upgrade software applications, hardware, and networking equipment.
- Work closely with leadership teams across departments to enhance operational efficiencies through technology.
- Ensure compliance with data security regulations, PCI compliance, and IT best practices.
- Monitor IT budgets, vendor contracts, and procurement of technology solutions.
- Provide IT training and support to resort staff to ensure effective use of technology resources.
- Stay informed on emerging hospitality technology trends and recommend innovative solutions to improve guest experience and business operations
Qualifications
- Minimum of 7 years of IT management experience, preferably in the hospitality, resort, or luxury service industry.
- Strong leadership and project management skills with experience in multi-property IT operations.
- Proficiency in property management systems (PMS), point-of-sale (POS) systems, networking, cloud computing, and cybersecurity.
- Knowledge of IT security compliance, including PCI DSS and GDPR regulations.
- Ability to manage IT budgets, vendor negotiations, and technology procurement.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive and solutions-driven mindset.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work across departments and leadership teams.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including occasional evenings, weekends, and on-call availability for critical IT issues.
