Job Summary:
The In-Room Dining Supervisor - Culinary at Black Desert Resort is responsible for overseeing the preparation and execution of all in-room dining orders, ensuring high-quality food production and timely service. Reporting to the Executive Chef, this role ensures that all meals meet the resort’s culinary standards, maintains kitchen efficiency, and leads a team dedicated to providing an exceptional private dining experience for guests.

Responsibilities
- Oversee food preparation and execution for all in-room dining meals, ensuring quality, accuracy, and presentation align with resort standards.
- Supervise and train in-room dining culinary staff, ensuring efficient service and adherence to food safety regulations.
- Coordinate meal production based on guest orders, prioritizing timeliness and excellence in presentation.
- Work closely with the In-Room Dining Manager to align culinary operations with guest service expectations.
- Monitor kitchen workflow, staff assignments, and production efficiency.
- Maintain inventory and coordinate food orders to ensure the kitchen is properly stocked for in-room dining services.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
- Assist in menu development, incorporating seasonal ingredients and guest preferences.
- Oversee plating, tray setup, and presentation of in-room dining orders to ensure a refined dining experience.
- Assist in scheduling, labor cost management, and staff performance evaluations.
- Handle special requests and VIP orders, ensuring personalized and high-end service for guests.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of culinary experience, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role, preferably in in-room dining, banquets, or private dining services.
- Strong understanding of food preparation techniques, kitchen operations, and high-end presentation.
- Ability to lead, train, and motivate a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent time management skills, with the ability to balance multiple orders while maintaining quality.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and sanitation best practices.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in kitchen equipment operation and inventory management.
- Culinary degree or relevant certification preferred but not required.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays based on guest needs.
