DESCRIPTION
We are seeking a dynamic Project Staffing Coordinator tooptimize workforce allocation for our 100-person team. Thriving in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment, you will solve complex scheduling puzzles, balancing immediate demands with long-term staffing strategies. Success in this role requires exceptional decision-making, prioritization, and organizational skills, as well as a deep understanding of team members technical and functional expertise. Collaborating with department leads and leadership, you will anticipate staffing needs, address gaps, and resolve conflicts to ensure the right people are in the right roles at the right time.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Centralize and maintain updated information on staffing needs, employee skills, certifications, and project requirements.
- Collaborate with leadership to anticipate project staffing needs, align priorities, and ensure access to accurate, up-to-date information.
- Facilitate communication across leadership teams, including scheduling updates, aligning on staffing decisions, and providing clear summaries of options and progress.
- Evaluate staffing needs for finance transformation projects by assessing skills, availability, deadlines, and client requirements; present recommendations for best-fit consultants.
- Develop creative solutions to address complex staffing challenges, such as resource constraints or overlapping priorities.
- Partner with team leads and employees to gather performance insights, support career development, and align opportunities with aspirations.
- Maintain and update staffing tools and systems for accuracy and accessibility; track metrics like utilization rates and time-to-fill positions.
- Continuously refine staffing processes, implement best practices, and enhance efficiency in workforce planning and resource allocation.
