- Converting a shelf space to a manufacturing space
- Dealing with the construction team dealing with engineering company for the design work
- Doesn’t want to see all equipment installation or qualification type of contractors.
- Wants to see involve with detail design of an existing facility.
- Participated in change controls.
- Facility design, facility retrofit.
- Essentially need to get the facility ready for the equipment phase.
- New construction experience or retrofit of existing space to a manufacturing space experience
Job Description
- This PM role will be to represent the site in a site expansion in packaging and automated warehouse. The PM will oversee the project, provide oversight of the cost, schedule, and risk management of this project.
- The role will report as a staff augmentation to the PMO Lead. The duration will be 6-8 months with the first part of this to be 4 months.
- The project is in the beginning stages and is in BOD and DD with Jacobs Engineering and will be in this phase in this first 4 months. The project will then move into demo, permit submittal, and then begin construction at this 4-month mark.
- The PM will lead a team of 15 to 25 people with a few reporting directly to the project, but most part time.
Requirements
- PM should have approx. 7 years’ experience in site expansion work as a PM.
- Degree preferred, but experience equivalent to a degree is acceptable.
- On-site 5 days a week (some weekends could be required).
