Scope of Work
- Installing, configuring, and maintaining Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) servers across development, testing, and production environments
- Performing system upgrades, patch management, and security hardening to ensure compliance with industry standards
- Monitoring system performance and troubleshooting issues to minimize downtime and optimize efficiency
- Implementing automation scripts using Ansible, Bash, or Python to streamline system administration tasks
- Configuring and maintaining Red Hat Satellite, Identity Management (IdM), and other Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) ecosystem tools
- Collaborating with security teams to ensure systems are protected against vulnerabilities and comply with security policies
- Maintaining and optimizing storage, backup, and disaster recovery solutions
- Supporting application teams by providing guidance on best practices for Linux-based deployments
- Maintaining documentation for system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting guides
- Participating in on-call support and incident resolution activities as required
- Setup Network File Server (NFS) and mount points
- Configuring Chron jobs for both systems and applications
- Bachelor’s degree, or postgraduate degree, in engineering, computer science, or related field
- Red Hat Certified Systems Administrator. Certification must be issued by Red Hat and include the resource’s valid certification number
- Working in a complex networked system environment with strong networking
