Job Title: Senior Red Hat Linux Administrator Consultant
Job Length: 5 Years
Work Location: Hybrid 3 days on-site, 2 days remote

Job Description
Core Responsibilities:
- Install, configure, and maintain Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) servers
- Perform system upgrades, patching, and security hardening
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues
- Automate system administration using Ansible, Bash, or Python
- Configure and manage:
- Red Hat Satellite
- Identity Management (IdM)
- NFS and mount points
- Cron jobs
- Support storage, backup, and disaster recovery
- Document system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting guides
- Participate in on-call support and incident resolution
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Postgraduate degree in engineering, computer science, or related field
- Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA) Must include valid certification number
Preferred Qualifications:
- 10 years in Red Hat system administration
- 10 years working with Unix (AIX) IBM pSeries systems
- 15 years of experience in the IT field
Additional Experience with:
- Oracle WebLogic, Oracle DB, Progress 4GL, Apache, PeopleSoft, Mobius, Elastic Search, Oracle OBI
- Tools: vSphere, Rubrik, CVS, Red Hat Support
- Red Hat performance tuning, backup/recovery, load balancing, high availability systems
- Working in 24/7 production environments
