Position Overview: We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Secondary School Teacher to join our team. Additionally, the ideal candidate will foster a nurturing and supportive classroom environment, plan engaging lessons, and help students achieve their full potential with excellence in mind.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with our mission and standards.
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and fosters a love of learning.
- Biblically integrate Christian values and teachings into daily lessons and activities.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing regular feedback and support to students and parents.
- Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and the school community to support student growth and development.
- Participate in school events, professional development, and ongoing training to stay current with educational best practices.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Secondary Education or a related field.
- Valid teaching certification.
- Strong commitment to Christian education and the mission of Black Hills Christian Academy.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to create a positive and engaging learning environment.
