Black Hills Special Services Cooperative (BHSSC) is a public entity that is an educational cooperative under the State of South Dakota. BHSSC is comprised of five divisions dedicated to aiding school districts, individuals, and the communities. BHSSC is seeking outgoing individuals to join our team. Wage-
$25.50-26.00/hour
Job Type-
Full-time, non-exempt
BHSSC is a 24/7 program. This position may involve working evenings, weekends, and holidays based on the needs of the individuals being supported.

Job Description-
- Serve as a member of the BHSSC DD Division Leadership Team (LRT), maintaining notes, documenting quarterly data reviews, strategic plans, and committee activities.
- Recruit, screen, onboard, and orient all new Northern Hills DD employees according to established policies and protocols. Provide ongoing support to new employees.
- Provide direct and immediate training and support in residential settings to ensure previous training is effectively implemented.
- Assist DSPs in achieving personal goals outlined in their plans through direct coaching.
- Train and support Residential Instructors in their dual roles as coaching leaders and team members who develop person-centered plans.
- Monitor and maintain systems for documenting training provided to BHSSC DD employees.
- Participate in management on-call rotation.
- Coordinate and provide site-specific training as needed.
Job Qualifications-
- Bachelor's degree in human services or related field.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated knowledge in person-centered services, rights, behavior supports, and regulatory requirements for training.
- Comfortable with public speaking.
- Ability to pass a background check.
- Physical & Clean Drug Screen.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs.
