We are seeking an experienced Laboratory Analyst/Chemist to join our team! Responsibilities
- Perform routine testing on a variety of materials and products.
- Conduct sample extractions and prepare samples as needed.
- Analyze data and perform calibrations, including updating curves.
- Perform peer reviews of documents and analyses for accuracy verification.
- Clean, calibrate, and conduct maintenance on laboratory equipment, including LC-QQQ, ICP-MS, GSMS, or HPLC instrumentation.
- Revise Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and modify templates as needed.
- Compile detailed data reports and ensure thorough documentation.
- Maintain communication between chemists and in-house technicians regarding sample preparation and re-extractions.
- Provide recommendations to teams based on test results.
- Perform appropriate laboratory setup and cleanup tasks.
- Ensure all laboratory activities comply with ISO 17025 standards, including maintaining quality systems, documentation, and processes for testing and calibration.
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, or a related science discipline.
- 1–3 years of experience in a laboratory setting, including working with LC-QQQ, ICP-MS, GSMS, or HPLC instrumentation.
- Experience in troubleshooting, maintenance, and method development/validation.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Clear and concise communication with team members and management.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexibility to work full-time, on-call, overtime, and weekends as needed.
- Strong personal commitment to successfully completing projects and effective time management skills.
- Previous experience working in a laboratory setting desired
