About the Role
The Director, IT Applications is responsible for overseeing the development & ongoing management of enterprise applications within the organization. This position involves strategic planning, technical leadership, & collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful development & maintenance of enterprise systems & solutions that meet the business needs & align with organizational objectives.
What you will accomplish :
- Lead & design the global IT strategy & ensure the technology roadmap for the next 5 years is aligned across all geographies & allows the company to achieve the desired business outcomes as a multi-segment consumer products company.
- Develop & implement a strategic vision for applications development, aligning it with organizational goals & technological advancements.
- Collaborate with senior management to prioritize application development initiatives based on business needs & market trends.
- Provide technical leadership & guidance to the backend applications development team, fostering a culture of innovation & excellence.
- Possess a deep understanding of SAP & S / 4HANA architectures, functionalities, & integration points.
- Collaborate with technical teams to assess system requirements, perform data migration, & configure S / 4HANA, Blueyonder & other enterprise applications to meet business needs.
- Partner across functional areas (Supply Chain & Finance) & IT to ensure that business adopts & realizes the value of SAP & other enterprise systems.
- Lead initiatives to enhance operational efficiency, streamline processes, & optimize resource allocation & utilization.
- Build strong relationships with the BRMs & key stakeholders to identify customer issues & needs proactively.
- Act as an escalation point & take ownership of critical incidents, coordinating with resolution parties, & establishing effective communication between stakeholders for post-incident reviews.
- Stay informed about emerging technologies & industry best practices to drive continuous improvement.
- Develop & manage the budget for applications development, ensuring optimal resource utilization & cost-effectiveness.
- Monitor project costs & take corrective actions as needed to stay within budgetary constraints.
- Build, manage & develop the global IT team.
- Ensure systems & processes are consistent across all locations, creating significant efficiency.
- Build strategic relationships with key suppliers & consultants.

The base salary hiring range for this position is $173,200-$215,000, but the final compensation offer will ultimately be based on the candidate's location, skill level & experience.
