Inventory Specialist (Field Work)
Full-Time, 1st Shift (7:00 AM - 3:30 PM)
Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Inventory Specialist to manage and oversee inventory processes at a contractor site (not a client warehouse). This role requires experience working with high-volume, small-part inventory and the ability to organize and analyze data efficiently. A strong focus on continuous improvement is essential for success in this position.
The Inventory Specialist will be responsible for tracking materials used in the installation of WiFi cable and fiber burial, including splitters, construction materials, vaults (electrical protection), and markers. Inventory is labeled and organized within buildings on a contractor lot, some of which have small warehouses with dock doors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Track, label, and organize contractor site inventory.
- Verify stock information and unit identification numbers.
- Conduct inventory audits and cycle counts per company policies.
- Unpackage, sort, and stage materials for production.
- Maintain accurate inventory records.
- Ensure inventory placement aligns with project needs.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Requirements & Qualifications:
- Ability to prioritize workflow and work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong organizational and analytical skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Comfortable working outdoors for extended periods.
- Flexible schedule based on project needs.
- Basic computer and Excel skills are a plus!

Pay: $19.56 - $21.25 per hour
