Position Summary
The Supervisor, Lease Records position at Black Stone is responsible for a team of analysts handling lease, contracts and acquisition activities within multiple geographical areas and should possess a willingness to multitask a variety of internal and project-based segments. Working under the direction of the Director, Land Administration, this role requires an ability to work independently and collaboratively while maintaining daily workload. This is an excellent opportunity to develop knowledge in every region of oil & gas while working alongside all departments to achieve a variety of goals.
In This Role, You Will
- Lead and manage a team of analysts and technicians
- Review and approve the work done by the analysts so all system changes are accurate and documented, following any related SOX processes and procedures.
- Own and maintain Lease Records procedures, training material and workflow
- Development and training of Lease analysts / techs
- Effectively communicate with and work cross functionally with other departments including Land, GIS, PDM, Business Development, etc.
- Assist internal personnel with various special projects that arise from, or that involve Lease Records issues.
- Other duties and special projects as assigned.
