Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Security Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our premises, personnel, and visitors. This role requires a proactive approach to surveillance and conflict management, as well as the ability to respond effectively in emergency situations.
Duties
- Monitor and patrol designated areas to prevent and detect signs of intrusion or unauthorized activity.
- Utilize surveillance equipment, including CCTV systems, to observe and report any suspicious behavior.
- Respond promptly to alarms and incidents, conducting thorough investigations as necessary.
- Enforce facility rules and regulations while maintaining a professional demeanor.
- Provide assistance during emergencies, including administering first aid and CPR when required.
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when necessary to ensure safety protocols are followed.
- Conduct loss prevention strategies to minimize theft and property damage.
- Maintain accurate logs of daily activities, incidents, and observations.
Qualifications
- Previous , or but not mandatory.
- Knowledge of surveillance techniques and loss prevention strategies is highly desirable.
- Certification in CPR and First Aid is a plus; candidates should be willing to obtain these certifications if not already held.
- Strong conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Excellent observational skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
