What are the responsibilities and job description for the Asphalt Paving Equipment Operator position at Black-Top Paving?
With over 110 years in business in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, Black-Top Paving, a division of Journey Group, is growing and seeking a safety minded Asphalt Paving Equipment Operator to join our team to operate paver, screed, and other heavy equipment. The Equipment Operator will collaborate between field foreman and paving team, maintain production and direct asphalt trucks, and perform ground tasks such as luting and shoveling black top. A $1,500 sign-on bonus is offered for new hires starting on or before June 2nd, 2025.
Qualified candidates will have:
- Ability to read, understand and follow job racket instructions.
- Knowledge of location and use of all safety devices in area.
- Valid state issued driver's license and evidence of auto insurance.
- CDL Class A - air brake endorsements preferred.
- Knowledge of Hydraulics and Hydrostatics.
