Description and Qualifications
Perform an array of functions that include receiving and processing incoming shipments, packing and shipping orders, managing, organizing BF Collections.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Warehouse :
- Coordinate arrival and unloading delivery trucks
- Inspect merchandise as it arrives (if damaged, item to be rejected at time of receipt) and stage to be put away
- An additional more thorough inspection will be conducted to validate the shipment is received, record all information in Studio
- Stamp and date all packing slips and file in appropriate folder
- Mark all boxes with a sticker containing PO #, GL code, project name, and date of processing
- Sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves or in bins according to organizational standards and record placement in Studio
- Mark all damaged items appropriately and place in returns area, notify procurement agent immediately
- Prepare all damaged items for return after receiving a shipping label from the procurement agent, and ship accordingly
- Pull items to prepare for install
- Communicate closely with property maintenance team on inventory and new purchases
- Update notes and colors in Studio when items leave the warehouse for reasons other than install
- Respond to requests to schedule deliveries
