We are looking for an exceptional Data Analyst who is not only a guru in Excel but also possesses a keen analytical mind, critical thinking skills, and an outgoing personality. This role is pivotal as you will work closely under the Director of Analytics with the opportunity to grow into their right-hand person. Your ability to communicate complex data insights in an understandable way will be crucial to our team's success.
Key Responsibilities :
Data Analysis : Perform deep-dive analysis on various datasets to uncover patterns, trends, and insights. Use advanced Excel functions, macros, and pivot tables to manipulate and analyze data efficiently.
Reporting : Develop and maintain complex reports, dashboards, and data models that support strategic decision-making. Translate data into actionable business insights.
Collaboration : Work directly with the Director of Analytics to understand business needs, formulate hypotheses, and design data-driven solutions. Serve as a key communicator of findings across different levels of the organization.
Project Leadership : Over time, take on leadership roles within projects, guiding junior analysts and contributing to the strategic direction of the analytics department.
Data Integrity : Ensure data accuracy and consistency by establishing and implementing quality checks and data governance practices.
Stakeholder Engagement : With your outgoing personality, engage with stakeholders to gather requirements, present findings, and facilitate discussions that lead to data-informed decisions.
Continuous Improvement : Continuously seek ways to improve analytics processes, tools, and methodologies. Stay updated with the latest trends in data analysis and Excel functionalities.
Problem Solving : Apply analytical thinking to solve complex business problems, identify opportunities for improvement, and propose scalable solutions.
Qualifications :
Education : Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related field. Advanced degree or certifications in data analysis is a plus.
Experience :
Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a data analyst role or similar with a proven track record of using Excel for complex data analysis.
Demonstrated expertise in Excel, including advanced formulas, VBA, Power Query, and Power Pivot.
Skills :
Exceptional analytical and critical thinking capabilities.
Strong proficiency in data manipulation, visualization, and interpretation.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain complex data concepts in simple terms.
