Position Summary |
At Blackburn’s, we are always looking to strengthen our organization by adding the best available talent to our staff and retaining our valuable employees. We’re seeking a Rehab Service Technician to evaluate, build, repair and maintain complex rehab and durable medical equipment. Schedule is fixed during training and flexible work week may be available once training is complete. On-call rotation includes about 10 weeks per year where technicians take emergency phone calls in the evening and on Saturday and Sunday, typically no more than 10 calls a week, and time is compensated. The ideal candidate will have good communication and computer skills, experience with both hand and shop tools, be familiar with mechanical or electronic devices, and possess valid driver’s license and good driving record. Background in healthcare related industry is helpful.

Qualifications
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: High school education or equivalent. Familiar with hand/power tools and computers. Understands anatomical terms. Must have good problem solving, written and oral communication skills. Electrical/mechanical knowledge or experience in assembly is helpful. Valid driver’s license with good driving record. Computer knowledge is required. Valid driver’s license with good driving record. Background in healthcare related industry is helpful.
