Overview
As Email Marketing Specialist at Blackhawk Network, you will work hands-on with our data-informed email nurture campaigns and supporting automations to drive reach and results! The ideal candidate for this role loves writing engaging and persuasive copy, ideating new test methodologies, and optimization through data collection and analysis.
In this role, you will be responsible for ideating, executing, and optimizing end-to-end email marketing campaigns across a variety of customer lifecycle stages and use cases. This includes boosting lead generation efforts through product nurture campaigns, in-person/virtual event promotions, and ad-hoc customer messaging.
Responsibilities
- Implement high-performing acquisition, nurture, and reactivation campaigns for multiple, distinct target audiences.
- Write copy for customer newsletters and ad-hoc email campaigns.
- Serve as a liaison between Product, Content, and Sales teams to ensure accurate email messaging.
- Build target lists and audiences for email marketing efforts in conjunction with marketing team members and business technology staff.
- Work with our Email Marketing Manager to explore strategy, build campaigns, test varied creative messaging, and optimize automations to hit business goals.
- Implement and execute ongoing testing regimen - including subject lines, layout, format, frequency, and more - to improve email performance based on engagement.
- Conduct regular post-campaign email performance reporting and share findings with team.
- Aid additional marketing efforts to help move leads through the sales and marketing funnel.
Qualifications
- 2 years of demonstrated experience in email marketing or a similar role.
- Proficiency in marketing automation platforms like HubSpot or Marketo (HubSpot preferred).
- Experience with enterprise CRMs like Salesforce.
- Excellent written communication and copywriting skills.
- High attention to detail.
- Provide sample of previous email marketing campaigns.
- Ability to organize and manage multiple projects at the same time in a fast-paced environment.
- Expertise in reporting and data visualization to share email marketing performance and test results.
- BA or BS in marketing, communications, public relations, or equivalent experience.
