Overview
We are a dynamic, market-leading fintech company seeking a highly experienced and strategic Principal Program Manager to join our team. In this key leadership role, you will be responsible for empowering our product teams to deliver extraordinary value to customers and accelerating our adoption of a modern product operating model.
You will be a senior-level individual contributor, reporting to the VP, Product & Tech Strategy and Operations. You will partner closely with the CPTO, Product and Engineering and cross-functional leaders at all levels to evolve how we discover, build and scale products. This role requires a creative, data-driven leader with a passion for scaling product organizations, embedding customer-centric practices, and leading effective change management and communication strategies to ensure smooth adoption of new ways of working.

Responsibilities
- Champion and implement contemporary product development practices, frameworks, and tools that enhance problem discovery, product discovery, and delivery effectiveness.
- Partner with leadership to articulate and operationalize the product vision and strategy, ensuring alignment with near and long-term roadmap development.
- Drive greater transparency and clarity around product roadmaps, prioritizing customer experience and measurable business outcomes.
- Develop and execute change management initiatives that guide adoption of the product operating model, ensuring alignment across teams and handling resistance constructively.
- Elevate the capabilities of product teams by designing and executing comprehensive onboarding, training, and continuous development programs.
- Strengthen collaboration across product management, engineering, design, marketing, and other key functions to drive seamless product development and delivery.
- Optimize and streamline product development processes, removing friction points and embedding best practices to enhance speed and impact.
- Establish and monitor OKRs and metrics to track product success, delivering actionable insights and regular updates to leadership.
- Lead internal communications to ensure all stakeholders are informed, engaged, and aligned with evolving product practices and initiatives.
- Foster a culture of learning and engagement by developing channels for communication, sharing success stories, and driving alignment across teams.
Qualifications
- 15 years of experience as a senior product leader in technology-native companies operating at scale. Experience working in regulated industries is strongly preferred.
- Proven track record in building, launching, and managing products that resonate deeply with customers and drive market success.
- Bachelor's degree required; MBA or advanced technical degree preferred.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to translate vision into execution and align initiatives with broader business goals.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills with a knack for breaking down complexity, analyzing data, and driving actionable insights.
- Outstanding leadership and communication abilities, with the capacity to influence and engage stakeholders across geographies and disciplines, and success fostering a values-driven culture that prioritizes collaboration and innovation.
- Demonstrated expertise in driving change, leading change management initiatives, and scaling best practices across complex environments.

Benefits
Salary Range for California Residents Only: $184,0600 to $248,500.00
Salary Range for Illinois Residents Only: $146,290.00 to $197,500.00
Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, Blackhawk Network offers benefits including 401k with employer match, medical, dental, vision, 12 paid holidays in the year 2025, 1 hour of sick pay accrual for every 30 hours worked, parental leave, life insurance, disability insurance, accident and illness insurance, health and dependent care flexible spending accounts, wellness benefits, and flexible time off for all full-time employees.
