Job Position: Training and Development Program Manager
Position Overview:
The Training and Development Program Manager is responsible for the development, planning, and execution of safety and training throughout the company as well as the training of new employees for most positions in the company.
Overview of Responsibilities (anticipated time split approx. 85% safety and training courses and 15% new hire training)
- Development, planning, and implementation of a robust training program and procedures
- Continuous adaptive/ hands-on training in the field and classroom setting.
- Weeklong orientation and training of new employees
- Ensuring safety procedures, training, and practices are being followed.
- Serve as a resource and assist in retention by providing high quality training experiences.
Metrics and Expectations
- Training to be done regularly, frequently, and consistently with an organized and planned approach.
- Training to be conducted frequently in the field in a hands-on manner.
- Training includes account managers, crew leaders, crew members, and others as applicable.
- Track and document training provided and employee certifications.
- Workers Comp mod rate will be used as a metric for safety and accidents. Mod rate should remain below 1.0.
Requirements:
- Enthusiastic attitude, strong character, solid work ethic, and willingness to take on responsibility.
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Valid drivers license
- Clear drug screen and criminal background check
