Position Summary:
The Crane Service Training and Development Program Manager plans, structures, directs and coordinates all Technical and Technician Training and Development within the Crane Service division. The Crane Service Training and Development Program Manager is the liaison between management, Lifelong Learning and the service regions on all technical training within Crane Service. This position will also support and manage the external customer training programs as well as the Mazzella Trainers that perform Customer trainings.

Requirements
Job Duties:
- Responsible for operational training and development and the management of all training programs and certification requirements for Technicians and Field Staff
- Plan, organize, direct and control all service training activities to ensure market leading development of technicians and inspectors
- Oversee and manage the Crane Service training budgets along with Regional and Branch Service Managers
- Participate in and Contribute to Industry Associations as a Representative of Mazzella Companies
- Responsible for managing and auditing the training programs, apprenticeship programs, and certifications (i.e. NDT, Welding, Inspector, MEWP,etc.) for all Service Field Technicians and Inspectors
- Actively participate in feedback sessions and performance evaluations of Technicians and Inspectors with Regional Service Managers and Local Service Managers, as they pertain to training and development
- Collaborates on goals and issues with internal business units when required
- Provide supervisory and managerial support as required. Ensure all problems and employment actions are reviewed with the Director of Crane Service and the Human Resources Department
- Monitor Performance and Achievements of Service Team Members
- Travel to meet with Regional Service Managers and Branch Service Managers as needed at various locations and for Training as needed
- Manage and develop customer training programs and manage the status of all Mazzella Trainers that perform customer based trainings for Rigging, Operator Training, Fall Protection, etc.
- Responsible for the timely resolution and feedback of all employee concerns, complaints or issues brought to their attention, annual reviews, salary administration of subordinates, etc. and fostering open lines of communication to all team members
- Participate in regular management meetings to review the status of the business
- Participate in the regular planning and goals meetings for the local service areas as required
- Maintain work area, equipment, and tools in a clean and organized manner; follow all Safety Guidelines
- Committing to Lifelong Learning by completing all assigned learning and seeking opportunities to improve self
- Other duties as assigned
