What are the responsibilities and job description for the Regional Strategy and Operations Lead position at BLACKLANE?
YOUR CHALLENGE:
- Supply Strategy & Planning: Develop and implement strategies that drive supply growth.. Utilize market insights to identify opportunities and adjust tactics to remain competitive.
- Driver & Rider Engagement: Develop and execute initiatives to enhance driver engagement, satisfaction, and retention. Prioritize the needs and safety of riders and drivers through innovative programs and operational support.
- Operational Excellence: Manage and optimize the day-to-day operations of Blacklane in the region, ensuring our service meets and exceeds user expectations. Proactively resolve operational issues and implement new processes for continuous improvement.
- Team Leadership: Build and lead a high-performing team, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and data-driven decision-making. Coach, mentor, and develop the operations team to achieve their full potential.
- Data Analytics & Optimization: Use data to understand key operational metrics, optimize processes, and drive strategic decisions. Leverage quantitative analysis to evaluate performance, identify trends, and enhance operational outcomes.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Product, Marketing, Finance, and Policy teams to drive city-wide initiatives and campaigns.
- Regulatory & Compliance Management: Work closely with local regulatory authorities and ensure compliance with city-specific transportation regulations.
ABOUT YOU:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Operations Management, Business Administration, etc.), and 8 years of experience in fast-paced operations strategy, business management, or management consulting, preferably in the mobility space
- Analytical Skills: High proficiency in data analysis, with a strong ability to interpret and act on data insights, and experience with data visualization tools (e.g. Tableau) and SQL (preferred)
- Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a rapidly changing environment and handle ambiguity with a positive attitude. Strong organizational skills and ability to manage competing priorities effectively.
- Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead teams and drive organizational change. Strong decision-making capabilities with a track record of motivating and inspiring teams to achieve ambitious goals.
- Collaboration & Communication: Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills. Proven ability to build strong working relationships with diverse stakeholders and partners.
- Strong project management skills and attention to detail
