Private Credit Associate - Infrastructure

Blacklock Group are partnered with a leading asset manager who are looking to add an associate (or senior associate) to their infrastructure credit team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct in-depth due diligence, including financial, credit, and valuation analysis.
• Build, review, and refine complex financial models.
• Perform thorough research on assets, companies, and industries.
• Prepare detailed presentation materials and analyses for investment committees and external stakeholders, such as potential borrowers, issuers, and rating agencies.
• Identify and evaluate potential investment opportunities.
• Oversee and assess both new and ongoing investments.
• Collaborate with management teams and investors to drive alignment and success.
• Foster a dynamic, collaborative team environment.
• Support activities related to fundraising initiatives.

Desired Qualifications:

• Proven record of achievement in academic, professional, and personal pursuits.
• 2–6 years of experience in investment banking, or credit/equity investing with a focus on infrastructure.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial modeling.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• High standards for integrity and ownership of work quality.
• Outstanding attention to detail with a capacity to quickly acquire new knowledge.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a high-paced environment.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and a team-first mindset.
• Self-driven with a focus on fostering long-term business growth.
• Prior experience engaging with rating agencies is advantageous but not required.
