They recognize the long-term investment opportunity in Energy-Transition, Infrastructure & Digital Infrastructure and have been extremely successful in their thesis thus-far.
The highly respected investment team are seeking a Private Credit Associate.
PRIVATE CREDIT INVESTMENT ASSOCIATE
The Associate will be responsible for sourcing and analyzing investment opportunities, conducting due diligence, and supporting the transaction execution process within the Energy-Transition sector.
The ideal candidate will have excellent analytical and communication skills, be able to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, and have a strong understanding of finance and investment principles.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Conduct market and industry research to identify potential investment opportunities.
- Analyze financial statements, valuation models, and other investment metrics to evaluate the attractiveness of potential investments.
- Prepare investment memoranda and presentation materials to support investment recommendations.
- Participate in due diligence efforts, including reviewing legal documents, conducting financial analysis, and identifying key risks and opportunities.
- Collaborate with other departments and external stakeholders to support the transaction execution process, including deal structuring and negotiation.
- Monitor portfolio companies and perform periodic valuations and analysis.
- Support fundraising efforts and investor relations activities.
- Provide analytical support and insight to senior investment professionals.
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, business, or a related field required;
- MBA or advantageous but not essential;
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in investment banking, private credit, or a related field
- Minimum of 2-3 years in power/ energy / utilities / energy-transition
- Strong understanding of finance and investment principles, including financial modelling and valuation techniques
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Experience with investment analysis software and systems, such as Capital IQ or Bloomberg
- Ability to work long hours and travel as needed
