Busy manufacturer looking for a skilled deburr technician to join its team. We are specifically looking for someone experienced with using Foredom-style power rotary deburr tools on soft metals such as aluminum. Experience sandblasting is also a plus. You will be responsible for the following:
- Using Foredom-style power rotary deburr tools to break edges and remove burrs on aluminum, steel, and stainless steel parts;
- Sandblasting parts in prep for anodize and Cerakote application;
- Following verbal instructions to break edges without changing part dimensions;
- Working quickly and efficiently;
- Maintaining an impeccably clean and organized work area
Basic Qualifications:
- 5-8 years’ experience as a deburr technician using Fordham-style high speed tools;
- Must have the eyesight and dexterity to manipulate hand tools and grinders deburr parts to requirements;
- Must be able to sit and concentrate on a repetitive task for prolonged periods of times;
- Must be able to follow verbal directions and instructions precisely.
Due to the nature of the work performed at our facility, you must:
- Be a U.S. citizen, legal permanent resident, or qualified asylum or refugee
- Have a clean criminal record free of any felony and certain misdemeanors
- Be willing to submit to a drug test upon receiving an offer for employment
