Piping design engineers play a crucial role in the chemical production facilities. As a Piping Design Engineer at BlackRock Resources LLC, you will be responsible for supporting plant operations and engineering projects using AutoCAD.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop general arrangement layouts, piping isometrics, and construction drawings.
- Create and review 3D piping models for project evaluations.
- Define project scope and deliverables based on business needs.
- Produce as-built drawings for P&IDs, piping isometrics, and layouts.
- Ensure projects meet schedules and deliverable expectations.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Associate degree in design, drafting, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of piping design experience in the chemical or related industry.
- 2 years of experience with 3D model design review software (Cad WORX or Plant 3D preferred).
- Proficiency in creating/revising drawings from design sketches and instructions.
- Knowledge of ASME and API codes.
