Job Title: Piping Design Engineer
We are seeking a skilled Piping Design Engineer to support plant operations and engineering projects using AutoCAD.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop general arrangement layouts, piping isometrics, and construction drawings to ensure efficiency and accuracy in chemical production facilities.
- Create and review 3D piping models for project evaluations, utilizing industry-leading software such as Cad WORX or Plant 3D.
- Define project scope and deliverables based on business needs, aligning with ASME and API codes.
- Produce as-built drawings for P&IDs, piping isometrics, and layouts, maintaining high standards of quality and precision.
- Ensure projects meet schedules and deliverable expectations, driving continuous improvement and cost-effectiveness.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of an associate degree in design, drafting, or a related field.
- At least 3-5 years of piping design experience in the chemical or related industry.
- 2 years of experience with 3D model design review software, preferably Cad WORX or Plant 3D.
- Proficiency in creating/revising drawings from design sketches and instructions.
- Knowledge of relevant industry codes and regulations, including ASME and API standards.
