Company Overview: Blackstack Brewing is a dynamic and creative agency specializing in the brewery industry. We are seeking a talented Food and Beverage Photographer to join our team.

Job Description:

Responsibilities:

  • Capture high-quality, visually appealing images of food and beverages for various platforms including websites, social media, print materials, and marketing campaigns.
  • Work closely with our chefs, brewers, and marketing teams to understand and achieve desired visual outcomes.
  • Set up and manage photo shoots, including lighting, composition, and styling to ensure consistent and professional results.
  • Edit and retouch photos to enhance visual appeal while maintaining a natural and appetizing look.
  • Stay updated with industry trends and implement new techniques to keep our content fresh and engaging.
  • Organize and maintain a library of images and ensure proper storage and cataloging for easy access.
  • Collaborate with the creative team to brainstorm and develop concepts for promotional campaigns and branding initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a food and beverage photographer with a strong portfolio showcasing your work.
  • Proficiency in using professional photography equipment, lighting, and editing software (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom).
  • Strong understanding of food styling and composition principles.
  • Excellent attention to detail and the ability to capture the essence of a dish or drink.
  • Creativity and a keen eye for aesthetics and trends in food photography.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with team members and clients.
  • Needs a valid driver's license and a reliable vehicle.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working in a professional photography studio or with a food and beverage brand.
  • Knowledge of video production and editing for food-related content.
  • Familiarity with social media platforms and trends in food photography.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to transport, set up, and break down photography equipment.
  • Ability to work on your feet for extended periods during photo shoots.
  • Ability to drive between multiple locations for photo shoots
