Overview
Our client, is a well-established E-Commerce retail/wholesaler operating in the home improvement space.
They serve both B2C and B2B customerrs throughout the US with products used primarily in residential kitchens and bathrooms. The office is located in Pompano Beach FL.
They seek an experienced senior manager to lead their B2B business unit as well as the supporting operations.
This is a "hands-on" leadership position responsible for managing and improving the performance of inside sales, customer services and order fulfillment operations.
You would lead a team of 10 members both on-site and at remote locations.
The ability to step in with the necessary skills and successful previous B2B experience in a similar role is important. Work experience in the Kitchen and Bath industry would be a plus, but not necessary.
The position reports directly to the VP/GM.
Limited travel is needed.
Responsibilities
• Oversee daily operations of inside sales, customer services, and order fulfillment logistics throughout the US with the goal of ensuring a seamless and positive customer experience.
• Closely monitor customer experience outcomes to identify needs and implement systemic changes that increase sales, enhance customer satisfaction, and nurture repeat customer relationships.
• Lead, train and motivate a team of customer sales/service reps both on location and at remote call centers.
• Manage fulfillment delivery which includes five 3PL partners, 70 direct ship manufacturers, and a small on-site warehouse to ensure accurate processing, tracking, and rapid delivery of customer orders. Develop and implement strategies to improve supply chain efficiency and reduce costs.
• Serve as the senior escalation point for complex customer issues, driving effective resolutions and long-term improvements.
• Collaborate across teams to resolve unique challenges, delivering tailored solutions for exceptional customer outcomes.
• Advocate for best practices throughout the organization to drive measurable growth in customer retention and repeat business.
• Manage profit/loss outcomes related to responsibilities.
• As a member of the senior management team, contribute to positively impact financial performance.
Requirements
• BS/BA degree or equivalent experience.
• 5 years of management experience in sales/service/ distribution operations.
• Strong understanding of B2B sales and service terms and conditions.
• Knowledge of supply chain management, 3PL operations, and inventory management systems. Proficient in ERP and CRM platforms
• Collaborative leadership style. Committed to motivating and building solid relationships based on the "win/win" philosophy.
• Skilled in creatively resolving complex customer or supplier issues professionally.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively at all levels of the organization.
• Strong attention to Detail. We must stress this is not a sales position. It's a management position with broad responsibilities.
• Ability to travel occasionally.
OTHER:
• Work experience in the kitchen & bath or cabinet industry would be a strong plus.
