Position Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized HR and Payroll Administrator to join our dynamic HR team. The ideal candidate will have experience with ADP Workforce, excellent communication skills, and a strong understanding of HR functions, including payroll processing, benefits administration, and compliance. In this role, you will ensure smooth HR and payroll operations while maintaining confidentiality and compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Payroll Administration:
- Process payroll for all employees using ADP Workforce, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Review timesheets, overtime, and deductions to ensure proper calculation and compliance with company policies.
- Address and resolve payroll-related inquiries from employees promptly and professionally.
- Maintain payroll records and ensure compliance with tax laws and regulations.
- HR Administration:
- Administer and manage employee benefits programs (healthcare, retirement, etc.), ensuring proper enrollment and updates.
- Support the onboarding process for new employees, including preparing employment contracts and collecting necessary documentation.
- Maintain and update employee records in ADP Workforce, ensuring all information is accurate and current.
- Assist in preparing reports and documentation for audits and compliance purposes.
- Compliance & Reporting:
- Ensure all payroll and HR practices comply with federal, state, and local labor laws and company policies.
- Generate and submit required government filings (e.g., tax filings, benefits reports).
- Provide support for HR compliance audits and address any discrepancies.
- Employee Relations:
- Respond to employee queries regarding HR policies, benefits, and payroll concerns.
- Assist in performance management and employee retention initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Experience & Skills:
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in HR and payroll administration.
- Strong working knowledge of ADP Workforce, with hands-on experience processing payroll and managing employee records.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- In-depth knowledge of payroll processing, tax regulations, and HR best practices.
- Experience with benefits administration and employee onboarding.
- Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
- Key Traits:
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with employees at all levels.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with additional HR software tools is a plus.
- SHRM-CP or similar HR certifications is desirable.
