Summary / Objective
Blackwatch is in search of a technician with mechanical and technical aptitude to learn the semiconductor facility support industry. The position requires organization, multi-tasking, collaborative teamwork, and exceptional services in support of the Defense Microelectronics Activity a Federal Research & Development (R&D) facility. This hands-on position will perform a range of mission-critical semiconductor manufacturing support duties.
Responsibilities
- Assist semiconductor equipment engineers with preventative maintenance and repairs.
- Perform routine walkthroughs to document equipment, gas and chemical data.
- Perform chemical fills and drains following safety procedures and protocols.
- Perform routine safety inspections and removal of hazardous waste.
- Handle, store and ship hazardous chemicals, material and waste according to regulatory requirements.
- Manage inventory and stock cleanroom supplies, chemicals and gases.
- Assist with equipment and tool calibration scheduling.
- Perform other tasks as assigned by management.
