What are the responsibilities and job description for the Fixed Income/ Derivative Trade Support position at Blackwood Associates LLC?
Extremely dynamic and growing multi-billion $ hedge fund in Manhattan, is looking for someone to support Fixed Income trading business. They are looking for 3 years’ experience and strong knowledge of fixed income products including bonds, treasuries, mortgages, asset-backed securities, lending, IRS and credit.
Job responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Identify areas of improvement and implement new procedures or change existing process flows to ensure tight controls front to back.
- Understand system flow and front to back operations of trade processing including settlements, PnL and confirms
- Cash Movement and Trade Processing
- Face off heavily with the trading desk
- Trade and cash reconciliation
- Utilize Python, SQL, VBA to constantly innovate and improve processes
