The Project Coordinator is responsible for supporting the Operations Team with pre-construction and operational tasks. The Project Coordinator will possess competency in the following areas to perform his/her role in a productive and safe manner:
Responsibilities
Responsible for supporting the Operations Team with Preconstruction and Operational Tasks related to:
- · Project Planning & Documentation
- · Communication & Coordination
- · Procurement & Logistics
- · Scheduling & Progress Tracking
PRIMARY RESPONSBILITIES
I. PRECONSTRUCTION
· CERTIFICATES OF INSURANCE - Request, Submit, and Maintain (request yearly updated certs)
o Request from subcontractors/vendors
· OCIP/CCIP INSURANCES – Complete, Submit, and Maintain
· BONDS - Request and mail to GC
· ALL SUBMITTALS: Rebar, Concrete, Misc. Material, CJ layout, Formwork, Safety, etc.
o PACKAGE AND SUBMIT – Submit via email or others program (via PROCORE, KAHUA, etc.)
o TRACK SUBMITTAL RESPONSES - Forward to vendors as necessary
II. OPERATIONS
· CHANGE ORDERS
o Gather EWTS from PG
o Plug into COR template
o Submit to GC after PM review
o Add/remove users
· EQUIPMENT RENTALS
o ORDER All rental equipment (requests from the order form)
o CALL EQUIPMENT OFF RENT When field is done
o MANAGE RENTAL EQUIPMENT LOG, Pricing, and provide weekly to pm team and field
o MANAGE Equipment PO log
o CHECK IN WITH FOREMAN On status of equipment and call offrent as needed
· CURRENT JOB LIST / FOREMAN ASSIGNMENTS – Update as necessary
· VVF REPORTING – Submit Quarterly
· CLOSE-OUT DOCUMENTATION
Qualifications
Education and/or Experience:
· Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university and 2 years of experience or 6 years of construction related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, and attention to detail
- Ability to prioritize and multi-task
- Expertise in Microsoft Office Suite
Physical Demands:
· Requires ability to maneuver in and out of job site trailers and various stages of job site terrains
· Frequently required to use hands to handle or feel
· Regularly required to sit, talk and listen
· Occasionally required to stand, walk, and reach with hands and arms
· Must have the ability to exert physical effort, handling average weight objects up to 15 pounds
Work Environment:
· Work is a combination of office and field environments involving various types of conditions encountered on the construction site
· Involves exposure to outside weather and job site conditions
