Job Title: SEO Specialist
Reporting to: Justin Bohon, Director of Merchandising

Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced SEO Specialist to manage all search engine optimization activities. This individual is responsible for driving organic traffic, increasing search engine visibility, and optimizing our ecommerce website for improved rankings and conversions without the use of traditional ads and PPC avenues. Expertise in SEO strategies, keyword research, and technical optimization will play a pivotal role in achieving our business objectives and maximizing online visibility. In this position, you will also work closely with our content creation and IT teams to ensure our online presence is optimized for organic search.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough keyword research to identify high-traffic and relevant keywords for our product pages, categories, and blog posts.
- Develop and implement effective on-page and off-page SEO strategies to improve website ranking and organic traffic.
- Optimize website content, metadata, and product descriptions to align with targeted keywords and consumer intent.
- Collaborate with the content team to create SEO-friendly, high-quality, and engaging content that resonates with our target audience.
- Perform technical SEO audits to identify and resolve issues related to website structure, crawlability, indexing, and mobile responsiveness.
- Monitor and analyze website performance using tools like Google Analytics, Search Console, and other SEO software to track keyword rankings, traffic trends, and user behavior.
- Plan and execute link-building campaigns to enhance domain authority and build high-quality backlinks.
- Stay up to date with the latest industry trends, algorithm updates, and SEO best practices to ensure our strategies remain effective and competitive.
- Work closely with the marketing and IT teams to implement SEO recommendations and drive cross-functional initiatives.
- Prepare regular SEO performance reports and present key findings and insights to the management team.
Qualifications
- 4-5 years of SEO, content marketing, and data analytics experience is required.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred by not mandatory.
- Proven track record of successful SEO campaigns and measurable results, preferably in B2C ecommerce.
- In-depth knowledge of SEO best practices, including technical SEO, on-page optimization, and link building.
- Proficiency in using SEO tools such as Google Analytics, Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, or Moz.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and present SEO strategies.
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to finding innovative solutions.
- SEO certifications (e.g., Google Analytics and specialized SEO courses) would be a plus.

Salary : $60,000 - $80,000
