Description:
In this role, you will be responsible for promoting the College's mission and vision. You will design and implement appropriate and meaningful instructional activities, incorporating the latest instructional and interactive learning technologies.
You will possess the knowledge, skills, and experience to provide effective instruction in concepts and principles as they relate to the field of instruction and ensure that content covers approved competencies.
Maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient classroom/lab is essential. You will evaluate student performance and provide students with detailed feedback to help improve performance and maintain student learning outcomes.
You will use the college's student information system and college-approved retention software to assist and retain students. Additionally, you will complete all required college records, including attendance and grades, in a timely and efficient manner.

Qualifications: An associate degree or higher in Electrical or Electronics or a related field, along with relevant industry experience, is preferred. Industry-recognized credentials and/or related work experience will also be considered.
Languages: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret policies, procedures, and governmental regulations. Ability to write reports and business correspondence. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, instructors, students, and the public. Ability to speak Spanish is preferred.
Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk and hear.
Work Environment: While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works in indoor conditions and regularly works near video display. The noise level in the work environment is typical to an office setting. Occasional travel is required. Evening and weekend hours may be required. This position is not benefits eligible at Bladen Community College.
