We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Public Service Specialist. This role will be responsible for providing administrative support in determining client eligibility for government social services.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform specialized administrative and case management services in support of Department of Social Services operations.
• Provide training, instruction and leadership to lower-level Income Maintenance Caseworkers as assigned.
• Interpret and ensure compliance with all applicable policies, procedures, laws and regulations pertaining to assigned department programs.
Requirements:
• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university and two years of experience as an Income Maintenance Caseworker; or an Associate's Degree from an accredited college in Human Services, Business Administration, Paralegal Technology, or related area and three years' experience as an Income Maintenance Caseworker;
• Valid North Carolina Driver's License;
