Job Duties
The Marketing Production Manager will oversee both the marketing efforts and production process for the organization. They keep manage projects, project deadlines, update all parties involved in each project, and monitor progress in between. They will assist with strategic planning and operational management of marketing activities.

- Base pay starting at $57,700 - $65,000 yr with annual performance-based merit raises*

Job Duties
The Marketing Production Manager will oversee both the marketing efforts and production process for the organization. They keep manage projects, project deadlines, update all parties involved in each project, and monitor progress in between. They will assist with strategic planning and operational management of marketing activities.
- Collaborates with the Marketing team to coordinate and execute the marketing calendar, ensuring that all activities are aligned to the overarching strategic direction by channel.
- Represent Marketing while interacting directly with business partners, serving as an inter-departmental and extra-departmental liaison.
- Manages/assigns projects to the correct available resources (based on job vs. skills and capacity), and ensures projects are completed accurately and on time using the established digital proofing and approval process.
- Traffics job orders to proper personnel w/in Marketing team, matching job type to applicable and available resources (assesses capacity).
- Clarifies business partner objectives and aggregates missing information (as needed).
- Provides regular production updates and reporting, while identifying and mitigating “bottle necks”.
- Proactively works to resolve business challenges while improving efficiencies.
- Consults with Marketing Directors to assess best vendor for production of jobs based on bids, jobs size, lead-time, etc.; negotiates pricing, manages deadlines, places orders, oversees distribution, and reconciles invoices against project budgets.
- Sends applicable Workflow communication to the stores organization and other departments for project implementation/execution.
- Manages the Pre-Press production process.
- Identifies, implements and optimizes marketing processes and technologies.
- 5 years of experience in Traffic/Project Management in Marketing Agency or In-house Marketing Dept.
- Bachelor’s Degree in related field preferred
- 5 years’ experience in Print/Creative Services.
- Proficient skills with Mac platforms, Microsoft Office applications, and web-based project management, resource management and proofing tools.
- Extensive knowledge in Marketing Project Management, including creative production for print & digital.
- Work cross-functionally within the organization.
- Ability to drive project to on-time and on-budget deadlines.
- Ability to read and speak English and communicate with customers and co-workers.
- Ability to function as a team member and ability to work under specific instructions.
