Job Summary:
The Senior Quality Operations Manager will be responsible for developing, implementing, and evaluating quality programs to ensure compliance with industry standards and customer contracts. This individual will lead a team of quality professionals and work closely with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement quality programs to meet industry standards and customer contracts
- Lead a team of quality professionals and provide coaching and development opportunities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement and process enhancements
- Identify and evaluate cost-effective resolutions for complex quality issues
- Maintain intimate knowledge of HMA placement techniques, troubleshooting, and dispute resolution experience with state agencies
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and industry standards
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree required; material testing and performance evaluation certifications preferred
- 15 years of progressive career experience in hot mix asphalt, aggregate, liquid asphalt, concrete, and quality control
- Strong understanding of asphalt mix designs and aggregate quality control
- Proven ability to lead quality teams and quality professionals
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
