What are the responsibilities and job description for the Mechanics Assistant position at Bland Landscaping?
Job Description
To perform preventative maintenance and minor mechanical repair of light and medium duty gasoline and diesel vehicles.
Production - Duties may include, but are not limited to the following :
- Inspect vehicles and equipment for repairs needed; perform minor repairs / replacements such as brakes, alternators, batteries, wipers, filters, starters as well as suspension and steering parts
- Preventative automotive maintenance tasks as needed
- Change and repair automotive and trailer tires.
- Order materials and parts as needed
- Maintain service records for all equipment, materials, and parts used.
- Perform related duties as assigned included by not limited to seasonal services provided to customers. Example : Snow Removal
- OSHA and other regulations are followed for all equipment as well as the shop.
