As a Bartender, you will be responsible for creating and serving a variety of beverages, ensuring that guests have an enjoyable experience while adhering to all food safety and handling guidelines.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and utensils.
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with patrons, taking orders, and addressing any inquiries or concerns.
- Monitor guest consumption of alcohol to ensure responsible serving practices are followed.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments and providing change.
- Assist with inventory management by tracking supplies and placing orders as needed.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service during busy periods, particularly during events or banquets.
- Adhere to all local health regulations regarding food safety and handling.
Skills
- Strong math skills for accurate cash handling and drink measurements.
- Knowledge of food handling practices to ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Experience in fine dining or upscale environments is preferred.
- Familiarity with brewing techniques and beverage preparation methods.
- Ability to manage cash transactions efficiently in a busy setting.
- Experience in banquet service or catering is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well under pressure in a team-oriented environment.
- Basic math skills for drink preparation and inventory management.

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 25 per week
