The company is a high-octane aerospace technology startup founded in 2019 and specializing in developing advanced Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS) and microsensor technology for both government and civilian sectors. Currently seeking an experienced Aeromechanical Engineer who will work within a multi-disciplinary team to develop low Size, Weight, and Power (SWaP) sensor technology as well as small unmanned electric aircraft tech from the ground up.

Seeking an Aeromechanical Engineer who will be involved in every aspect of the engineering process, from clean-sheet design and prototyping to outdoor testing, customer interaction, and manufacturing.
The Compensation
145K - $175K Competitive Annual Base Salary Plus Stock Option Package and Bonus Plan Commensurate with Experience

Own significant portions of the sensor development process including mechanical design, analysis, fabrication, testing, and production.
Participate in conceptual design and development of mechanical system architecture.
Develop trade studies and risk reduction tests to validate designs.
Work with external suppliers to quote and procure mechanical hardware.
Fabricate mechanisms and test setups using standard prototyping methods.
Work with management to develop realistic timelines and scope of work to achieve project goals.
The Background Profile
U.S. Citizenship required
Bachelor's Degree in a relevant Engineering discipline; Master's Degree a plus
Minimum of 5 or more years of experience developing mechanisms and mechanical hardware
Comprehensive experience with full product development lifecycle from concept development through production
Versatile hands-on experience with low SWaP sensor tech, small unmanned systems, or model aircraft is desired
Demonstrated competence in mechanical design including the development of lightweight metallic and composite mechanisms and structures and sealing methods
Proven experience in the full mechanical engineering lifecycle from design to manufacturing
Strong understanding of material properties and structural analysis
Adaptable in fast-paced research and development environments
Proficient in SolidWorks and Microsoft Office suite
Ability to be based onsite at the Camarillo, CA headquarters
