Seeking a Controls Engineer to report to the Director of Engineering and manage project coordination with a diverse array of project stakeholders, including project managers, mechanical engineers, electrical engineers, technicians, and customers.

80,000 - $120,000 Annual Base Salary Range Commensurate with Experience

The Role
Manage and coordinate multiple projects' programming tasks to ensure they are completed on time.
Organize and plan project programming tasks and schedules.
Manage programming duties following the best practices and standards of the company.
Complete and maintain the Controls Workbook for projects and ensure that documents produced at each project stage conform to the company's standard requirements.
Develop and design required Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) programming, Human Machine Interface (HMI) programming, and Robot programming.
Assist in collaboration across engineering and operations departments to ensure projects are completed successfully.
Optimize project deliverables and schedule.
Work with proposal teams to develop cost estimates for programming duties.
The Background Profile
U.S. Citizenship required
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Informational Technology preferred
3 years of prior experience in the commissioning and setup of a variety of industrial equipment, structures, and automation equipment
Comprehensive knowledge of programming methodologies including sequential state best practices
Skilled in programming software tools including Roboguide (non-negotiable required), Allen-Bradley, Siemens, Fanuc, and Keller und Knappich Augsburg (KUKA) applications
Proficiency in the development of Vision applications including Cognex and Keyence
Competent in programming Robotics and Servo Motion
Ability to work onsite daily at the Easley, SC facility
Availability for 10-15% occasional and primarily local travel as required

Aptitude to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and mechanical instructions, and assembly manuals
Proficient in writing reports, correspondence, and procedures
Familiarity with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundaments of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry
Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations
Capacity to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists
Skilled in interpreting a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
Proficient in defining problems, collecting data, establishing facts, and drawing valid conclusions and ability to recognize, mitigate, and correct unsafe conditions
Knowledgeable in Microsoft Office Suite or related software
Exceptional technical writing and verbal communication skills
