Blayze Recruitment have partnered with a well established and industry leading Residential Developer who are seeking a Real Estate Counsel to join their team. This position will be an integral part of the real estate team within the Legal Department, working on the Company’s real estate transactions and related matters. The successful candidate will possess the ability to create positive internal and external relationships while multi-tasking on individual and team projects and goals.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Draft, review and negotiate various contracts, land acquisition documents, and transactional documents that meet the Company's risk tolerance and other standards.
- Effectively lead real estate professionals within the Legal Department.
- Identify and resolve project and business risks creatively.
- Establish and monitor quality control for legal work product.
- Advise business units on legal risk and compliance with their real estate initiatives.
- Provide extensive legal advice related to land acquisitions and land development.
- Perform due diligence and prepare any documents related to transactional needs of land acquisition and development process.
- Monitor legal developments that affect the Company's business.
